ABOUT OUT OF THE CROWD FESTIVAL
OOTC STORY SO FAR...
Since 2004 the Out Of The Crowd Festival takes place every year at the Kulturfabrik in Esch-sur-Alzette / Luxembourg and brings you the best of modern and contemporary indie music. The concept of the festival is based on music and art.
Since its inception in 2001, The Schalltot collective a.s.b.l. has organised more than 250 shows in and around Luxembourg. In 2004 the idea of putting up an independent music festival in association with the Kulturfabrik came up.
Over the years the OOTC festival has known an evergrowing success, hosting amazing acts such as Battles, Built To Spill, Metz, Gogo Penguin, Beak >, And So I Watch You From Afar, Iceage, Motorpsycho, Breton, Baths, Aucan, 65daysofstatic, Minus The Bear, Maserati, Tall Ships, PVT, Forward Russia!, Engine Down, Honey For Petzi, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Pelican, These Arms Are Snakes a.m.m.
2022 will celebrate the 18th edition of the festival and as a matter of common interest The Schalltot collective a.s.b.l. is very pleased to team up with Rotondes, OGBL and the Kulturfabrik and make this 18th years anniversary worth being remembered.
